An early 20th Century mahogany pedestal desk, the rectangular top inset brown leather cloth writing surface, surrounded by gadrooned and carved leaf decorated edge, fitted three frieze drawers above pedestals each with three further drawers flanked by fluted pilasters and panel sides, raised on claw and ball feet, 60 x 36 x 32in. high.
An early 19th Century apothecary's mahogany desk, the raised back with rosewood crossbanding above bottle stands enclosed by a pair of tambour slides, the detachable marble top with later loose mahogany cover, inset handles to sides, three graduated drawers under fitted brass inset handles and fitted interior, raised on turned reeded tapering legs, 24 x 21 x 48in. high.

CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, inkwell covers possibly re-fixed at some point, some small areas of restoration, some very slight losses.
A silver novelty desk stand, hallmarked London 1923, maker's mark of Albert Clarke Modelled as a vintage car, possibly a 1902 Baby Peugeot, the boot a stamp box, the hinged seat revealing an inkwell. 13 cm long. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, some slight dints, slight loss to underside of seat, approximately 14 troy ounces all in.
A rare Martin Brothers ware desk inkwell in the form of a ships binnacle The detectable main body having incised stylised star motif to the bottom, signed by Robert Wallace Martin, the main body unsigned, height 8cm, diameter 13cm. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1228: Firing fault to rim of inkwell, base with small hairline crack to interior (doesn't go through) otherwise good (see images).
