An Edwardian rosewood Carlton House desk, the crossbanded superstructure centred with an arrangement of pigeonholes and drawers in front of a green leather writing surface, the sides flanked with hinged cupboards, over two frieze drawers, 117cm wide 65cm deep 101.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Surface dry and with some cracking to veneer. One key hole missing and unsightly hole instead. Back has sun bleaching, rough dirty surfaces. Small veneer chips on edge of crossbanding. One lock replaced. Left hand top cupboard detached. Small incised slot to left of top shelf?
