A Fine George II Walnut Kneehole Desk Circa 1740. The quarter veneered top having a crossbanded border with feather stringing and a moulded edge measuring 32 1/2 ins x 18 1/2 ins (83 cms x 47 cms). The long frieze drawer and side drawers all having crossbanded borders, feather stringing and lip moulded edges with brass swing handles on shaped back plates incised with embellishment, flanking a recessed arch topped kneehole cupboard. The moulded base raised on bracket feet.
