A late Victorian silver heart shaped desk timepiece, with white circular dial, and easel strut support, by Douglas Clock Co, Birmingham 1900, 9.5cm high, together with a silver plated circular small timepiece, and an Edwardian silver rectangular cigarette box, with foliate strap hinges and feet, by Wakely & Wheeler, London 1907, 19.5cm wide. (3)Condition report: First timepiece: hairline cracks to dial at 2 o'clock. Movement not working. Several dings to silver case. Second timepiece: movement currently runs but working order has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed. Losses to plating on case, small chip to centre of dial. Cigarette box: several dings to body, mainly to lid. Later fabric lined. Age related wear, patination and marks throughout.

A late 19th/early 20th century mahogany pedestal desk, with tooled leather writing surface, moulded edge and three frieze drawers and with three further drawers to each panelled pedestal. Height 75 cm, width 136 cm, depth 76 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The desk is structurally very sound and in generally good order. The tooled leather writing surface is in generally good condition with only minor marks, the odd very small perforation but no significant tears or scratches. There is also the odd old ring mark. The mahogany surround is in good order all round. The moulded edge also is in good condition as is the frieze. All drawers run smoothly. There is one lock missing to the second bottom right hand pedestal drawer. We have one key which operates all remaining locks. The handles appear to be original with the exception of the bottom drawer handles which are later replacements. The desk is panelled all round but not quite so well at the back although it could be freestanding. There are some marks and scratches around the plinth and kneehole as one would expect. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
A Victorian walnut ladies writing desk, with superstructure and writing surface to drawer and raised on cabriole legs. Height 125 cm, width 97 cm, depth 61 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The desk is structurally sound and in generally good order. All of the fretwork is present. The superstructure is all in good condition. The doors are not warped. They are not locked. We have no key but the locks are present. The writing surface area is in generally good order with some minor ring and water damage but no significant problems with the veneers which are generally good. The sides of the desk are in good condition as is the front. The top drawer slides out to a tooled leather writing surface. The writing surface is scuffed and marked but not ripped or torn. The lock escutcheon is partially missing. The cabriole legs are all in good order with no repairs but simply have scuff marks and scratches as one would expect from the age of the piece. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany dressing table or desk, with plate glass top and fitted with five frieze drawers and kneehole recess raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in spade feet. Height 76 cm, width 121 cm, depth 54 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lot is in generally very good order. It is structurally very sound with no loose joints. Having a plate glass top has protected the top surface. All drawers are in good condition and run smoothly. All handles are original and present. The side panels are in good condition as are the legs which are free from any losses and repairs. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
