There is a mark on the leather but this does appear to be in a polish which has been put over it so could be cleaned and re-polished.

Edwardian mahogany band marquetry desk, in the style of Edwards & Roberts, raised superstructure with brass gallery, central shelf, two hinged compartments above drawers, the top inset with a leather writing surface, frieze drawer and six bowfront drawers surrounding the kneehole, square tapering legs on casters, width 122cm, depth 64cm, height 96cm.
Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005)/A Danish writing desk in rosewood and oak, designed 1958 for Soren Willadsen, model number 12478, the four frieze drawers with recessed handles, 167cm wide, 75cm deep, 73cm high CONDITION REPORT: Surface veneer in very good condition. Drawer fronts good. Second drawer from right has minor chip to lower corner. One drawer has split to a knot of wood on the underside, not visible from above. Minor scuff marks to lower right corner of table. Polish abrasions to rear right corner. Very minor dents and bruises to legs and stretchers. Lock plates stamped Elzen/Made in Hungary - no keys. Overall in very good condition. (An Article 10 permit has been granted by CITES, allowing us to sell this item.)

Vintage Marshall 20 Channel Mixing Desk. An original, Marshall built 20 channel analogue mixing desk, formerly owned and used by acclaimed Bristol based engineer, collector and musician Greg Latham. Possilbly built circa 1972/3. Prior to his passing Greg indicated that this deck was originally purchased as part of a deal including elements of Led Zeppelin's 'back line' but sadly no supporting documentation exists and we cannot confirm that this desk was used by the band. An early 17th century silver desk seal, unmarked circa 1625, the oval intaglio with the arms of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick, the baluster handle with three bands of double thread lines, height 4.7cm, approx. weight 3oz. Provenance: A Private Collection. Alastair Dickenson Ltd. Robert Rich 2nd Earl of Warwick (1587-1658) was the son of Lord Robert Rich and Penelope, daughter of Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex. He was educated at Emmanuel College Cambridge and was admitted to Middle Temple in 1604. He was returned as the member of parliament for Maldon in 1610 and 1614.
