Whilst the piece appears basically sound, there is scratching to the surface at the top and wear and tear conducive with age throughout. Unfortunately there is no key so we are unable to show the inside or know of what is in there!

The leatherwork to the writing surfaces with splitting, cracking and small rips. Veneers rippled to the left of the centre leather section and top right ditto.
