An ornate easel stand with Rococo style decoration 13 ins (33 cms) in height. An ornate inkwell stand, a cinq-foil inkpot and two other desk sets with square glass inkwells. An 18th century candle stick with ejector slide (A/F), two pairs of Victorian candlesticks. An Indian bowl engraved with dancing figures and birds amongst scrolling foliage on a punchwork background, 4½ ins (11.5 cms) in diameter. A brass horse and a small collection of horse brasses.
A Delightful Late 18th Century Anglo-Indian Ivory Desk Box on Later Stand. The Vizagapatum sandalwood box clad in ivory veneer and engraved with bordering bands of undulating flowers and foliage. The sloped fall front resting on loper supports and enclosing a fitted interior of arcaded pigeon holes and small drawers with a base drawer below. The silver metal escutcheons embellished with engraving. The mahogany stand having square canted legs and a gadrooned top, 21 ins (54 cms) wide, 10 ins (25.5 cms) high and 10 ins (25.5 cms) deep, standing 39½ ins (100 cms) overall in height.
An Onyx Marble, Cloisonné & Gilt Bronze Desk Clock signed F. BARBEDIENNE. The cloisonné dial decorated with flowers and foliage on a blue ground and inset with round convex enamelled numeral plaques. The movement striking a bell, stamped Medaille d`Or 1827 Paris and housed in a low rectangular striated marble case with a cloisonné band of undulating flowers running around the middle and gilt bronze bearded heads mounted at the corners. Standing on winged paw feet, 7½ ins (19 cms) in height, 14½ ins (37 cms) wide, 8 ins (20 cms) deep.
