After breaking into Buckingham Palace, Benjamin Gates (Nicholas Cage) and Dr. Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) discovered the puzzle piece in the Resolute desk owned by the Queen.This piece is made of resin hand-painted to resemble wood and intentionally distressed to appear hundreds of years old. The Big Lebowski kept a pen on his desk during his discussion with The Dude (Jeff Bridges) about his urine covered rug. This maroon- and gold-color exterior pen is engraved "Jeffrey Lebowski" along the shaft in gold-color. The pen exhibits scuffing on the cap, the cap fits loose on the shaft, the engraving is fading, and the pen is low on ink. NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, THE (1993) - Jack Skellington's (Chris Sarandon) Miniature Scissors and Skull Mug - Jack Skellington's (Chris Sarandon) miniature scissors and skull mug from Henry Selick's fantasy musical The Nightmare Before Christmas. Skellington removed a pair of scissors from a skull mug on his desk to cut out a paper spider snowflake.The miniature silver-color metal scissors are also seen in the foreground on page 50 of Frank Thompson's reference book "Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas: The Film, the Art, the Vision." The miniature resin mug is painted silver-color, gray, and black to emulate dark hammered iron features and skull detailing with rough teeth-like features in black-and-white paint. The scissors exhibit wear at the hinge point and edges; the mug features a white bottom with black paint splatter and minor paint chipping. The drawers all run as expected but the frieze drawer needs easing a little and again no key is present.The desk has been stored in an unheathed environment (I presume) and the polish is a little dull and could do with reviving.generally the structure is good but the desk will need some work to make good.
