A LOUIS XV GOLD-MOUNTED, TORTOISESHELL AND TRI-COLOUR GOLD INLAID SNUFF BOX mark of Eloy Brichard, Paris, 1756-1762, oval, the hinged cover inlaid with a young couple at rest between trees, chased wavy gold mounts with incorporated thumbpiece, wavy flange. 4.5cm high, 9.5cm wide, 5cm deep105 grams gross. The cover closes well, and the hinge is in good condition. Some age-related surface wear but generally in good condition.

A George III Silver Snuff-Box, Maker's Mark IT, Birmingham, 1817, oblong and engraved with foliage and with a vacant cartouche, the interior gilt, 80mm wide, 2oz, 18dwt, 90grPart marked inside base and cover. There is some wear to the marks. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to teh engraving. There is a shallow bruise on the cover. 80mm wide by 43mm deep by approximately 30mm high.

An Indian or Persian silver gilt and jewelled snuff box 19th century, impressed marks to base and cover, in the form of a miniature casket, the lid with applied filigree panel set with a central emerald, pink topaz and sapphires, the foliate border with cabochon sapphire thumbpiece, the outset base with foliate decoration on a matted ground, 2½ x 1 7/8in. (6.3 x 4.75cm.), 7/8in. (2.25cm.) high. *Some wear to gilt to underside and edges. Small area of wear to rubover mount to one sapphire. Slight wear to facets on emerald. Lid opens and closes securely. Otherwise good overall, with no other faults.
