(2) Condition report: both boxes have dents to the corners, and some scratches.

AN 18TH CENTURY IVORY RECTANGULAR TOOTHPICK CASE, with gilt metal mounted plaque, 6cm wide, an early 19th Century tortoiseshell rectangular snuff box, the textured hinged cover with raised, reeded borders, 9cm wide, and a small agate cup. (3) Condition report: ivory case: fine crack to edge of lid, engraved plaque a bit dented. Tortoiseshell box: chipped to front of lid and back of hinge area, faded and dry looking. Small cup has a stress crack to the side.

A French silver double gilt rounded rectangular snuff box, 1798-1809 petit garantie poinçon and Double, with engine turned panels within scroll foliate borders overall, inscribed Sarah Todd Astor 1818 to the lip, 8.4cm (3 1/4in) long, 119g (3.8oz)Condition Report: There is a split to the lip of the box lid, 8.4cm x5.1cm x 2cm, the hinge is working, further possible repair, inscribed Sarah Todd Astor 1818, slightly rubbed. There are punctures to the underside of the lid, but as the lid appears to be a double skin it doesn't go through to the top. A George IV silver hinge lidded snuff box, of curved rectangular form, with engraved decoration, Birmingham possibly 1828 and another silver hinge lidded snuff box, of curved rectangular form, probably Birmingham 1811, combined weight 69 gms, (2). 6835 Condition Report Smaller box - splits to either side of the hinge, there is a seam which runs around the center of the box which has started to come apart and has been repaired in the past, hinged cover does not shut flat. Larger box is in better condition with a couple of dents to one end, the hinged cover opens and shuts however when closed it is slightly sunken. Both boxes are heavily tarnished.
A European shaped oval hinge lidded snuff box, with scroll and partly fluted decoration, the hinged lid mounted with blue, green and red cabochon gems (one a faceted replacement) length 7cm and a lady's silver and pale blue enamelled wrist compact, fitted with a mirror within, London 1924, mounted to a ribbon, (2). 6832 and 6834 Condition Report The box: The gems are offered as coloured cabochon pastes, one red one is replaced with a faceted garnet. The hallmarks are a bit rubbed. The hinge is in good condition. No dents. Would benefit from professional cleaning. Compact: Some spotting to the interior mirror, the enamel is in good condition apart from one or two tiny surface marks. There is the remains of a sticky label on the back. The wrist ribbon is assocated and perished, the buckle also does not match.
