A FRENCH GOLD MOUNTED STAINED HORN AND PIQUE BONBONNIERE, LATE 18TH C the cover inset with a glazed, engraved gold basket of flowers hanging from a bow over foiled glass, tortoiseshell lined, 7.5cm diam, a French Vernis Martin green ground bonbonniere and cover, the underside painted with Putto and two Scottish tartanware snuff boxes, c1830 (4)++Tortoiseshell bonbonniere with slight loss to the decoration and small chip on rim at 2 o'clock, Vernis Martin box in good condition but dirty, the decoration on the underside an indication of the original bright appearance. Small tartanware box with tiny old flat chip on a corner of the lid, the larger box in better condition with a few light scratches
