A Battersea enamel snuff box c.1750-55, the rectangular form engraved by Ravenet, printed in puce to the top of the cover with Britannia Surrounded by the Arts and Sciences, the interior with a portrait of Frederick, Prince of Wales, the base with putti before a lion and a large flag, within a shaped cartouche, the sides with further putti emblematic of the Arts, with gilt metal mounts, some cracking, 9cm.
