A George IV silver snuff box by Nathaniel Mills of rectangular form with gilt interior, Birmingham 1826, length 58mm, weight 41g. Condition - good, appears free from any damage/repair, no play in hinge, no holes, hallmarks well defined, little wear to interior, general wear to exterior to include rubbing and minor dings, no flat spots.
William IV silver snuff box of rectangular form, silver gilt interior, with reeded and cast foliate borders, engraved base and hinged cover with repoussé decoration depicting a pastoral scene with courting couple (London 1833), maker - W. K. All at approximately 3½ozs, 7.8cm across CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Some minor surface wear. Cartouche on base may have had engraving removed. Interior gilding is discoloured in corners. Hinge is stiff and cover doesn't close completely. Marks clear

Fine and rare 18th century erotic mother of pearl and silver snuff box of oval form, the top engraved with a scene of a cavorting couple, Cupid to the fore, taking aim with an arrow, hinging once to reveal engraved bedroom scene to the underside and ivory secondary lid, polychrome painted with scene of a bearded gentleman unlocking the chastity belt of his voluptuous lover, the reverse with figural portrait group of scantily-clad women, her palm apparently being read by a crone, with a child looking on, 8cm wide CONDITION REPORT ornament to cover is a little worn, some pitting - particular area of pitting top right below hinge, interior painted cover with chastity belt scene - has some paint loss to outer edge wear and discoloured varnis, interior painted scene of fortune teller has some small areas of paint loss
