An early Victorian snuff box, by Francis Clark Birmingham 1838, of simple rectangular outline with reeded sides and engine tuned base, the hinged cover with moulded floral border with central inscribed cartouche; together with a lancet case of conventional from with engraved floral borders and two cartouches engraved 'Token of gratitude' 'from a friend', with fitted interior and four lancets; together with a Victorian sugar bowl by Marshall & Sons Edinburgh 1849 with embossed floral, scroll and birds to bellied bowl, with everted scalloped rim with chased scroll details, raised on three hoof feet (3), snuff box 8cm x 5cm x .5 cm, lancet case 6.5cm high. Notes: the engraved cover inscribed in script 'presented to Mr Wm Reddie by the Monitors of Chalmers street Sabbath morning school as a token of their esteem of his unwearied excitations in endeavouring to provide these spiritual welfare 9th June 1840'
