White metal snuff box, jewel encrusted trinket box, white metal circular trinket box and small British silver vinaigrette, Birmingham hallmarks. (5) CONDITION REPORT: Some stones are missing from trinket box, overall wear in places to snuffs, some minor dinks. Legible hallmarks.

The former 6 cm diameter. (2) CONDITION REPORTS: Some losses and spits, repairs to lid, some denting and losses to frame around miniature, some minor damage to portraits, general wear.

The metal hinged head opens to reveal an appeture for the use of the table snuff box. Set on an oval oak base, terminating on silver plated ball feet. 16'' in width, 14'' in height.
An early 19th century Chinese Canton tortoiseshell curved rectangular snuff box, finely carved throughout, the hinged lid decorated in high relief with figures in a typical village scene, with simulated bamboo rim, carved to the sides and underside in a similar manner, width 8.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a 1 inch long crack at back right corner of base and tiny associated chip. Very minor nibbles to rim and the pins of hinges need replacing at lid section.
An early 19th century Chinese Canton carved tortoiseshell circular snuff box, the lid finely decorated with figures in a typical village scene with pagodas and pine trees, the underside carved in a similar manner, diameter 9.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small chip to the lower rim of the cover, there is hairline crack on the base but barely visible from the underside, otherwise in good condition.
A 19th century tortoiseshell card case with metal stud decoration, 10.5 x 8cm (af), and a 19th century horn and tortoiseshell snuff box, width 6.25cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: The card case has split down the spine where the hinge has sprung, a small area of loss to the corner of the lid, a few small surface scratches and hairline cracks. The snuff box has general wear commensurate with age, otherwise OK.
