A 19th century Austrian silver and niello snuff box, hallmarked Vienna, 900 purity mark and maker's mark of Georg Adam Scheid Worked overall with a chequer design enclosing an heraldic monogrammed cartouche. 9 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally good condition, expected wear, approximately 127 grammes.
A horn snuff box, decorated a portrait of William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, inscribed GUL:AUG:DUX CUMBRIAE, 6.5 cm diameter Condition report Report by GH The top and bottom are a nice snug fit. There are some small losses to the underneath of the foot-rim and a couple of tiny nibbles around the edge of the bottom, and there are a a couple of small cracks running vertically up the sides of the top and a couple of small chips on the edge of the top. Otherwise no major damage or repairs and only minor issues commensurate with age.
An Edwardian taxidermy rams head table snuff box with thistle finial and raised on three castors. With a white metal Masonic plaque, from Bro. T. Sandilands P. M. to the Scotts Lodge No. 2319, April 26th 1906, 32cm high. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Plaque damaged and loose. Some bear patches and splits between the eyes and around the muzzle.

A mid 19th century French silver snuff box of rounded rectangular form with engine turned decorated base and sides, the hinged lid centred with guilloche enamel floral sprays within blue heightened border with niello detail, with makers mark and export hallmark, 8 x 4.5cm, approx 2.2ozt. CONDITION REPORT: 3 small areas of loss to enamel (see photo). Small dent to base.
