There is a very small hairline and chip to the cover and a similar minor hairline to the main body. Cover fits snug onto base. With the usual age-related wear.

An early Victorian novelty Irish souvenir buffalo horn snuff box fashioned as a wild boar, with fine detail, bone tusks, red bead eyes, protruding ears (that appear to be carved not applied) and carved snout, the top of box with hinged lid opening to reveal storage, the underside marked, 'KILLARNEY LAKES', the National Park in County Kerry, Ireland', 4 ½in. (11.5cm.) long.
