An elaborate mahogany shoe form snuff box, the sliding lid with ebony dots and brass pique work within conforming bone mounts and borders, the whole of the shoe with similar decoration with bone roundels and diamond to the heel, the sole in elaborate brass pique work and ebony dots and further embellished with a bone heart, 11cms, 4.7cms high.

A Scottish sycamore snuff box by Craig, with wooden hinge inlaid with specimen woods, inward curving sides, the front with inlaid crown panel titled 'Napoleon', the curved lid with eleven titled inlaid panels including 'King James' Holly', 'Thorn aboon the Well', a few a little unclear, foil 40%, lid stamped 'D. Craig, Helensburgh', 8.8 x 5.7 x 2.8cms.
A Scottish 'blind man' deep carved sycamore snuff box, the lid carved with a kilted bagpiper beside a kilted huntsman with dog, one end carved with a horned sheep the other a dog, the front carved with a woman wearing a long dress one hand resting on the thumbpiece carved as a wheel, original wooden hinge replaced by two brass hinges with consequent alterations, the back with geometric carving, 14 x 7.4 x 5cms.
Late 19th Century domed top tea caddy of walnut inlaid with mother of pearl and Tunbridgeware style stringing, the hinged top, with brass lock, opening to reveal two lidded compartments (H 14.5cm, L 23cm, D 12.5cm), together with an early 20th century Birdseye Maple veneered musical cigarette box (H 8cm, L 19.5cm, 11cm) and a 19th century black lacquered papier mache snuff box, the hinged lid inlaid with floral pattern (L 6cm). Along with an early 19th Century Deception Glass of typical form with bladed knop to stem (height 11cm) together with a silver plated pedestaled fruit bowl with swing handle (diameter 23cm, height to rim 9.5cm). Victorian silver snuff box, Jos. Wilmore, Birmingham 1839, ractangular, the lid with cast border, ei=ngine turned cartouche with engraved presentation, gilt interior, 8.5cm, 3.4ozt.Condition report:The box is very worn, soldered rudimentary repairs to all corners, the front right corner of the top has holes in the decoration where it is worn through, engraved presentation inscription, hinge is very good, engine turned sides are completely worn away.
Ca. 1900, hallmarked 800, w. engr. owner's entries "Donna Marianna Scordino" and "H. Frhr. von Bülow" on the inside, 2 coats of arms and initial W on front side (one w. use of blue glass, the other inlay gilt or gold (?)), w. 2 engr. coats of arms (incl. the Von Bülow arms) on the back side. Weight approx. 120 grams. -and 3 other cigarette boxes of var. materials. Added: 5 others incl. a cigar box, a lighter and a sm. snuff box hallmarked 830 on the bottom. Occas. defects. (total 9)
