A German porcelain rectangular snuff box, perhaps Furstenberg circa 1770, the silver mounts J L, London 1824, the hinged lid decorated two gentlemen and a lady in a landscape and with a couple and cupid to the underside, the sides and base decorated courting couples, 7.5cm wide Condition Report: Lot 18: The condition of the porcelain and silver elements is good with only very slight wear in line with age and usage.

A William IV silver snuff box, Thomas Shaw, Birmingham 1831, with reeded decoration and foliate thumb-piece, monogrammed C R, 6.5cm wide Condition Report: Lot 53: Initialled CR to cover. Tiny dent to one corner and overall slight wear and scratches in line with age and usage. Clear hallmarks. Does not close tightly - a small gap visible at front between cover and base.

Damage to amber at point near thumbpiece of cover. Some small chips/flakes to amber near edge of panels in interior. Network of fine cracks visible to surface of amber. Mounts unmarked and appear in good condition.
