An 18th century burr wood snuff box and hinged cover, the cover carved a lion, a building and a tree, 11 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by GHWe believe this to be Continental, specific country unknown.There is a small crack going away from each of the hinges on the main body around 1 cm each side. Another small crack on the left hand side of the main body. Nice wear and paternation.
