A George III Silver Snuff-Box, by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham, 1810 oblong and slightly curved, the top and hinged cover engraved with a scene of a classical charioteer, the base engraved with foliage and flowers, the interior gilt78mm wide, 1oz 12dwt, 50grPart marked inside base and cover. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the engraving. There is a split/tear to one side of the body near the hinge and some bruising overall.
