A George IV hallmarked silver snuff box of rectangular form, Birmingham 1825, length 5.5cm, an Art Nouveau decorated matchbox cover, a contemporary sterling silver snuff box decorated with flowers and a Danish silver plated snuffbox (4). CONDITION REPORT: Initials have been erased from the rectangular cartouche of the snuffbox. Gilt washed interior remains. Rather rubbed and tired lid. The lid closes and the action remains tight.

All at approximately 1.5ozs. 6.5cm overall length.General overall condition very good, some minor surface scratching and wear, two corners have been knocked slightly, interior gilding is worn, hinge is good, cover closes properly but is slightly loose fit. No holes or any major damage or repair. Hallmarks very slightly rubbed.
Good quality George IV silver snuff box with repoussé decoration depicting Minerva, Venus and Cupid within scrolling arabesque foliage and gilded interior (Birmingham 1826), maker John Betteridge, 8.8cm x 6.2cm.The snuff box is in good overall condition, with no holes, large dents or signs of previous repairs. There is some overall loss of definition to the features of the figures and there are a couple of very minor dents. The hinge and clasp are both good.
