A silver snuff box hallmarked Chester 1928Condition Report: Firstly the hinge appears to be in good condition and is straight, the snuff box is not without issue. There several 'dings' etc. to the underside and also to the underside of the lid. There is a 2cm 'scratch' visible mostly to the top left hand side of the cartouche on the lid (viewing from above) and there are also minor 'dings' to the bottom of the box where the foot sits on a flat surface. it has engine turned decoration to the lid and underside and is also very finely reeded to the edges. The floral thumb piece is excellent and the lid bears a central rectangular cartouche and as we interpret it the initials are PVV, it is also dated 1930.

Dutch Import silver box oval with hinged lid and decorated with farmers and agricultural scenes, marked with both a Dutch silver mark and Chester Import mark, 9cm across, 128g approx, a white metal hinged snuff box with gilt interior, unmarked, 9.5cm across, 56g approx, Dutch white metal spoon, with hallmarks to the reverse, 11cm, 14g approx and one other Continental white metal caddy spoon decorated with fish and fisherman with Sheffield Import mark, 9cm overall, 23g approx overall (4)Condition report: Overall tarnish and signs of wear. Some signs of wear throughout. Some small scratches as expected, consistent with age and use. Spoon is particularly worn, more so than the other two pieces. Fish caddy spoons with minor damage and losses.

All have overall wear, small marks, scratches and tarnish consistent with age and use. Rectangular snuff box is monogrammed, with some very small dents. One elastic strap is missing to the interior. It closes well. The small circular box also has some small dents and signs of heavy wear to the lid in particular.
