An early Victorian novelty Irish souvenir buffalo horn snuff box, fashioned as a wild boar, the realistic box with fine detail, bone tusks, red bead eyes, protruding ears (that seem to be carved not applied) and carved snout, the top of box with hinged lid opening to reveal storage, the underside marked, 'KILLARNEY LAKES', which refers to the National Park in County Kerry, Ireland', 4 ½in. (11.5cm.) long. * Condition: In very good condition, with tiny chips to rear upper plate and main body edge, flat-head screws holding backplate cover with interior wood block, this is not a repair, done in construction.

(7.6cm.) wide, together with miniature tortoiseshell rectangular snuff box, the cover with ornate inlay and a Indian white metal snuff box with raised floral decoration. (3) * Condition: The larger box with nibble to lip on cover, the miniature with fracture to underside corner.

AN ANTIQUE ENAMEL SNUFF BOX painted with landscapes within cartouches to the lid and sides, with inner gilt lid and a small snuff spoon, the box 4.7cm wide together with a further 18th century enamel box, the lid painted with the motto 'Esteem the Giver', 5.8cm wide Condition: the first box with crack inside the lid, further marks, small cracks and minor damages particularly to the corners, wear beneath. The second box with damage to the lower edge, loss to the green enamel, further wear and cracking especially to the lid overall
An Edward VII Silver Regimental Snuff-Box, by Deakin and Francis, Birmingham, 1902, shaped oblong, the hinged cover engraved with the crest of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers; Together With: An Inniskilling Fusiliers Seal, the box 7.5cm wide, 2oz 6wt (2). The snuff-box: fully marked inside cover and further part marked on bezel. The marks are generally clear. There is some wear and scratching, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving. The seal with the remains of a material, presumably wax, in the matrix. Sold with a manuscript note and further typed note. The manuscript note with some bleeding of ink and creasing. The typed note creased and torn from folding and with some staining. See illustrations online of both.
A George V Silver Snuff-Box, by Henry Wigfull, Sheffield, 1924, Britannia Standard, in the shape of a gad of steel, the hinged cover engraved with the coat-of-arms of the Worshipful company of Ironmongers above the inscription 'All this done upon the gad King Lear I,2, 30 June 1925', 9cm long, 3oz 15dwt . Fully marked inside base. Further part marked inside cover. There is some overall minor surface scratching. Sold with a manuscript note and a further note describing the coat-of-arms of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers. Each with some creasing and staining.

Small table cabinet with scratches and cracks to the lacquer and some elements lacking. Snuff box with chips and scratches. Circular covered box with substantial cracking and chips throughout. Glove box scratched and scuffed. Glove box two - scuffs and chips to the edges. Calligrapher's tray in generally good order. Sericology extbook has rust to the three holding staples on the spine. Another textbook with some slight moisture damage to edges. Remaining articles of calligraphy creased and ruffled at the edges but no apparent tears.
