AN UNUSUAL BILSTON STILL LIFE ENAMEL SNUFF BOX, the lid and sides with shaped panels painted in the manner of Hancock, with fruit including peaches, grapes, pears and plums reserved within gilt and white linked C-scrolls against a powder blue ground, the outer border of the lid corners with stippled darker blue decoration, gilt metal mounts and flanked thumbpiece. 4cm by 9cm by 7.5cm CONDITION REPORT Cracks visible to the interior. Some small losses of enamel. Hinge works correctly.
