A small gap between the mount and onyx base - see images, although the mount is secure. Some small chips in the odd area, notably the bottom corner of the front and small minor losses to the malachite inlay at the front. Square box with malachite inlay to the border edge: Also with hallmark to the hinge, some scuffs and nibbled edges to the extremities and exposed edges. Box with chequer inlay with hallmark to the side: With nibbled and scuffs to the edges and corners, including a small chipped area to the back edge corner of the top. The mother of pearl inlaid dragon fly box with small crack to the back edge below the hinge. Also hallmarked. Slopping interior, possibly for postage stamps. See further images.

A George IV silver oblong engine turned snuff box. With concave sides, the hinged cover with a floral chased thumb-piece and a central rectangular reserve with later initials '.J.M.F.', mark of James Collins, Birmingham 1824, 1.75cm high, 6.5cm wide, 3.25cm deep (5/8ths x 1 1/2 x 1 3/8ths inches), 45g (a little under 1 1/2 ozs)
A 19th century mother of pearl and tortoiseshell canted-rectangular snuff box. The hinged lid engraved with a shield-shaped cartouche with initials within a floral surround and several borders and an unmarked white-metal frame, approx. 1.75cm high, 6.25cm wide, 4cm deep (3/4 x 2 1/2 x 1 5/8ths inches) Condition Report: Overall in very good condition. Small chip to the inner rim of the tortoiseshell. Some residue present and would benefit from a clean. Some tarnishing to the silver, decoration is crisp. No apparent cracks, noticeable significant scratches or restoration.

The hinged front with a plain oval reserve within a pale-blue 'sunburst' guilloche ground, hasp and ball clasp, the base with hallmarks for Cohen & Charles, Birmingham 1912, 48.5mm x 37.5mm x 7.5mm (1 7/8ths x 1 1/2 x 1/4 inches) Condition Report: A chip to the enamell lower left corner not through to the base.
