A Prisoner of War Metal Snuff Box.  The tin engraved MAC to top left corner, AIF to lower right, "Returned from Active Service" engraved to center with Signals Insignia "Far East Malaya Campaign" etched to three sides of the box, approx 9.5 x 6 x 2.5 cms. Note: This snuff box was given to the vendor by a M.A Chilcott 8th Division Signals, who was a Prisoner of War during the Malaya Campaign. He befriended the small boy whilst working as the family gardener, after the conflict, the vendor was age 10 at the time.
