A carved bone snuff box, late 18th/early 19th century, possibly French prisoner of war, finely carved with an urn of flowers within scroll and acanthus leaf borders, 9cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Generally grubby. A few tiny nicks to the detailing here and there. the upper right corner of the lid has a replaced section of bone - not so finely carved.

THOMAS THOMPSON; a George III hallmarked silver snuff box of curved rounded rectangular form overall engraved and pin pricked decorated with a floral and geometric motifs, initialled JB to the hinged lid enclosing gilt washed interior, Birmingham 1807, 8 x 4.5cm, approx 2.1ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition with mild surface wear commensurate with age such as tiny scratches and odd dints, possible restoration in the area of flush hinge (traces of soldering to the inside and scratches to the outside), traces of usage to the inside and residues of cleaning products.
THOMAS HAYES; a Victorian hallmarked silver snuff box of rectangular form overall engraved with foliate scrolls and foliate motifs, with cast foliate borders, centred with an oval initialled cartouche to hinged lid enclosing gilt washed interior, Birmingham 1895, 7 x 5cm, approx 3.4ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in very good condition, shape intact, minor surface commensurate with age such as rubbing to the cast borders and areas of residues of cleaning products particularly to the inside along the hinge, small areas of tarnish and some staining to the inside.
JOHN GRINSELL & SONS; a Edward VII hallmarked silver snuff box of rounded rectangular form, moss agate inset with Irish harp and shamrock to the hinged lid on engraved ground enclosing gilt washed interior, Birmingham 1901, 6.5 x 4cm, approx 1.5ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition with traces of minor usage commensurate with age such as mild scratches and tiny odd dints, interior intact with area of staining, residues of cleaning products and area of scratches to two edges.
A 19th century Dutch silver circular snuff box embossed with bust of Emperor Napoleon and his family to the hinged lid and with husk garlands to the sides, diameter 7cm, approx 2ozt. CONDITION REPORT: General condition is good, marks to base rubbed, general minor traces of wear commensurate with age and usage such as mild scratches and odd tiny dints, surface rubbing.

A circular tortoiseshell lined snuff/patch box, possibly fruitwood, with relief decoration to the lid, diameter 8cm, two Mauchline ware aide memoir cases both with views of Llangollen and a papier mâché lacquered hinged lidded box, length 8.5cm (4). CONDITION REPORT: Regarding tortoiseshell: Name etched into top interior and bowl, chip and further nibbles, some hairlines to rim of shell, further chips and cracks including major chip to fruitwood case.
A mixed lot of Oriental ceramics including a Japanese Meiji period Imari pattern plate with fluted body, diameter 22cm, a Kutani ware bottle vase, an early 20th century Chinese porcelain Famille Rose ginger jar (af), and a Chinese Republic style baluster vase, height 11cm, also a modern cloisonné box and a Japanese glass snuff bottle.
BILSTON & BATTERSEA ENAMELS; an enamel on copper snuff box depicting a 1904 Reo 1-cylinder run about from the James C. Leake collection on the oval form lid. In the correct blue padded original box, still retains original foldout leaflet. The actual car was driven in the London to Brighton run five times by Mr Leake.
