LONDON` with a registration lozenge, two copper snuff boxes with applied coins, an oval box with a lion finial and a Windsor souvenir paperweight. (8) Provenance: The Property of Dr & Mrs Emanuel.

ROUX 19, Rue de la Chaussθs 19,ΰ MAURICE`, 12Όin (31cm) wide, together with six papier-mβchι snuff boxes, one painted with a cat`s head, one with three tall ships, one with grenadiers, the others inlaid with mother of pearl. A 19th century carved coquilla nut snuff box, modelled as a man wearing a cap and overcoat with bone buttons and bead eyes, 3½in (9cm) high, an Italian olive wood and marquetry extending book rack and a button hook with a Celtic design, the brass handle previously plated. (3) Provenance: Newby Hall, Yorkshire.

Mordan scent bottle with slight play in the hinge but undamaged, snuff box and jewel both in excellent condition, the purse also fine, the koala rattle slightly defective
WILLIAM BATE (FL C1799-C1845) AFTER JEAN PETITOT ANNE `NINON` DE L`ENCLOS (1620-1705) signed on the counter enamel Painted by W Bate Painter in Enamel to HRH Princess Elizabeth from Petitot`s in the King`s Collection of the Ninon de L`enclos, turned contraposto in a blue robe and pearl necklace and pearl filet, 4.8 x 4cm, gold frame The original miniature attributed to Petitot is in the Louvre (No.35715). The subject was a favourite of 18th and 19th century copyists and recorded examples include another in enamel by Henry Bone, signed and dated 1807 set in the lid of a gold snuff box (Wallace Collection, London). Further examples are in the Victoria & Albert Museum (No 940-1868) and the Musee Condé, Chantilly. Anne `Ninon` de l`Enclos (1620-1705) was one of the brightest ornaments of 17th century Parisian life. She embodied beauty, wit and influence at the highest levels of society. A free thinker, author and courtesan, she lived to be over 80 and amassed great wealth. In fine condition set in a plain narrow later gold frame
