Political interest papier mache snuff box, circa 1795, The lid decorated with four figures and a map of Polonia (Poland) probably depicting Catherine the Great, on the left a seated woman , next to her a man with star decoration to his chest and both wearing ermine and blue sashes, on the right two men , one possible their son, Paul of Russia, pointing at the map and conversing with a man wearing dark blue jacket and decoration to his chest. An angel flies above them, to the base a crown and staff, the Fourth annexation of Poland took place in the 1790s and this appears to commemorate this act

A George III South Staffordshire enamel oval snuff box, in relief and picked out in polychrome with a bouquet and sprigs of Deutsche Blumen, gilt C-scroll cartouches and flowerheads on a pale yellow ground, hinged cover, bow thumbpiece, 8cm wide, c.1770; another, painted with a Chinoiserie garden in colourful polychrome on a white ground, 7.5cm wide, c.1770; another, smaller, the hinged cover centred by a Gothick country house, within a gilt oval reserve, woven gingham textile ground picked out in polychrome with country flowers, bow thumbpiece, 6.1cm wide, c.1770, [3] The architectural edifice on the third snuff box shows remarkable similarities to Horace Walpole's Gothick fantasy at Strawberry Hill at Twickenham.
