Including: Gold Flake (printer's proof box label), Capstan Navy Cut (printer's proof tin label), Gold Mohur Flaked Honeydew (x2 printer's proof labels), Wills Tobacco, Snuff, Cigar & Cigarette (x2 general Wills factory advertisement proofs, with different prices noted), and Traveller Brand (printer's proof box mock-up). Various sizes. All as used during final proofing or production stages by artists at Mardon, Son & Hall. Some likely unproduced examples.

A group of silver items comprising a silver salver, by E Silver & Co, Sheffield 1945, 31cm diameter, a silver snuff box, early 19th century, with reeded decoration, with a gilded interior, marks rubbed, a small silver salt, by Mappin & Webb, a George III silver salt spoon, Josiah & George Piercy, and two silver napkin rings, by John Rose,total 31.9ozttogether with a pair of silver plated grape scissors and a coffee spoon,18 and 8cm long (qty.)Condition ReportKnocks, wear and rubbing throughout. Salver in good order with no inscription. Birmingham mark to the snuff box with the others heavily rubbed.

Robinson (William Heath) Ten original illustrations making five pairs, for fairy tales and other stories, including 'Jack and His Golden Snuff-Box' amongst others, pen and black inks, over traces of pencil, variously signed and inscribed, all on uniform artists' board, several with ink address 'May Lodge' of Heath Robinson inscribed verso, each sheet approx. 460 x 320 mm (18 1/8 x 12 1/2 in), scattered spotting and minor surface dirt, unframed, [circa 1915-1920]*** Illustrations for stories including: "Stupider & Stupider"; "The Three Companions"; "Jack and His Golden Snuff-Box"; and another unidentified. Possibly part of a series of illustrations for Bohemian fairy tales that were published in The Strand, circa 1916. The Metropolitan Museum of New York hold a comparable "pair" that was illustrated in The Strand [see acc. no. 2021.16.3]

George IV silver snuff box of rectangular form with all over machine turned decoration, the border and central cartouche in rose gold, having a full length hinge, the lid opening to a gilt interior, engraved to the inside of the lid "From the Families of the late James Chadwick and John Clegg to Thomas Cooke Esq as a small acknowledgement of his gratuitous services as an Arbitrator between both families", hallmarked for London 1823, makers mark John Linnit, 118gms 7 x 4.5 x 2cm
