Antique - Good Quality Long and Solid Silver Double Albert Watch Chain with Attached Silver Vesta Case and Horseshoe Lidded Snuff Box. All Links to Albert Chain - Hallmarked Silver. The Vesta Case Hallmark 1914, and Horseshoe Lidded Snuff Box - Hallmark Birmingham 1885. 106 grams. 28 Inches In length. The Double Albert Chain Is In Excellent Condition.
Bilston Enamels Patch Boxes Circa 1820's Two Georgian enamel patch/snuff boxes, the first, a square box with motto 'Sacred To Friendship' to hinged lid, finished in powder blue and white enamel, original mirror to inner lid. Chips to enamel on bottom right corner. The second, an oval box finished in cobalt blue enamel with message 'The Gift Of A Friend' to lid. Lid depicts a veiled lady with bird. Slight damage to enamel at rim, hinged lid is loose but mechanism intact.
A William IV Silver Snuff Box by Nathaniel Mills:Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1836, of rectangular form with engine turned decoration, cartouche to cover now vacant, L 8cm W 4.8cm CONDITION REPORT: Hallmark clear, however the cartouche on cover has been erased and the surface is uneven and there are traces of former engraving. The engine-turned decoration flat and there are dents to corners. (TIRED)

Three early 19th century burr wood snuff boxes of rectangular form, largest 10.5cm (3) CONDITION REPORT: Largest: damage to hinge, base of box re-glued, see image.Middle: again, damage to right hand side of hinge, splits to base and sides, section missing in base.Smallest: hing a/f, nibbles and damages to box edges.
A hallmarked silver oval table Snuff Box, central oval vacant cartouche surrounded by a profusion of foliate-style engraving, makers mark W.N., assayed Birmingham 1873, 8cm wide, approx. 73.4g CONDITION REPORT: Overall it appears quite dirty, the cartouche is vacant and un-engraved, there are one or two very minor small dings around the edge of the circular box at the widest point, the lid seems to lock very tightly and there is some minor surface scratching upon close inspection. The inside is also quite dark and you can see where the lip of the internal spring was affixed, see images.
A very fine and heavy cast silver Table Snuff Box, the hinged lid heavily cast with a Roman chariot battle-scene above a body similarly cast with battle trophy including spears and shields etc., the lid opening to reveal gilded interior and presentation inscription, makers mark NM for Nathaniel Mills, assayed Birmingham probably 1826; 8cm wide, approx. 139g CONDITION REPORT: This came privately, was inherited and has been in the family for many years. The box looks in exceptionally good original untouched condition with nice crisp decoration (the box weighs 139.5g), the interior is crisply gilded and engraved with presentation inscription as per catalogue entry.
