Burford in 1960/2 and run five to six years before being laid up due to pressure of owner's business interest, was exhibited in the exhibition '150 years across the Shannon', first and only boiler certificate 1964, fitted with water gauge, pressure gauge, blowdown valve, whistle, steam brake, Walschaert's valve gear, injector and pumps both axle and hand, lever reverse, silver soldered boiler, (80lbs working pressure, hydraulic test 160lbs psi) stainless steel grate and firing tools, mechanical lubricator, connections for water tank trailer, model finished in BR black livery with show track.

The engine has a brazed copper boiler with thirty-two tubes and fittings including water gauge, pressure gauge, safety valve, blower, water lifter, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details including twin high pressure cylinders 1 1/8 inch bores, drain cocks and pipes, twin ratchet mechanical lubricators, crosshead guides, Stephenson's link reverse, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, two road speeds, solid flywheel, other details include spoked straked wheels, worm and roller chain steering, cable drum, fairleads, hand brake, wooden foot board with steps, finished in green and red paintwork, 39 inches and 15 1/2 inches (99cm x 39cm), Collection of stainless steel tools, shovel, bottle jacks and strakes. Complete with glazed case on polished mahogany stand.
