A fine cased 5 shot 38 bore Adams Model 1851 “Dragoon” self cocking percussion revolver, 13½” overall, barrel 8” engraved on the top strap “Wilkinson & Son, Pall Mall, London”, London proved, the frame engraved with scrolls and “Adams’s Patent No 1449”, the finely chequered walnut butt with steel cap having engraved sprung trap. Very Good Working Order and Condition, the barrel and frame retaining 95% of original mirror blued finish, cylinder with traces of colour hardening, in its original green baize lined fitted mahogany case with circular brass escutcheon and maker’s trade label, containing 38 bore double cavity bronze mould with Adams 1851 Registration mark, bag shaped copper flask by Dixon retaining virtually all original lacquered finish, brass mounted wooden loading rod with interchangeable cleaning jag, nipple key with pricker, turnscrew, pewter oil bottle, turned wooden box containing 2 spare nipples, 38 bore wad punch, 2 other wad punches and 2 associated tools. An impressive model fort/barracks wired for lighting effect. 52cm x 45cm with brick effect walls, central gateway with hinged double doors to open courtyard with steps to upper level vantage points, barrack style building to rear with removable ‘tiled’ roof with chimneys and central tower with British Union flag atop. Mounted on a scenic wooden base 78cm x 47cm. Together with a selection of white metal Dorset and Mountford soldiers and figures to suit. Including a gunnery team with swivel gun, 2 wheel mounted guns, tables, chairs, two soldiers on cycles, sentry box, blacksmith with horse, anvil and tools. VGC.

A George V 1911 Coronation commemorative smokers and drinkers set, comprising three various tools in fitted case inscribed "With the Sheffield Forge & Rolling Mills Companies Compliments", 16.5cm wide and a French gilt metal perfume set, the shaped oval base with pierced and jewelled sides and two scrolling handles, containing three clear glass bottles each with faceted conical stopper, 8.5cm wide (2)
A pair of Sèvres porcelain and gilt bronze mounted urns, each decorated with figures in a garden setting within an enamel bejewelled border on a bleu-celeste ground with panels of flowers and musical instruments / garden tools verso, bear blue crossed L marks with letter A for 1753 and decorator's mark "EC" to underside of lid CONDITION REPORTS One lid broken into numerous pieces and with cracks, chips and losses which have been fillered and over--painted, paint very yellowed and discoloured, other lid with firing cracks around underside of rim, various losses to the jewelled deocration to both lids. One urn with several large discoloured cracks/breaks to both sides, some glue to cracks, some losses to jewelled decoration. Both urns and lids have at some time in the past been restored and over-painted - this appears to have been professionally carried out and it is not possible to ascertain the extent of damage beneath the restoration. 30 cm high
