MANUSCRITO.- CASA DO INFANTADO.- Copiador de documentos.- Século XIX (depois de 12 de Abril de 1826).- 1 vol. [89 f.]; 39 cm.- E., The House of the Infantado was created by King João IV in 1654-55 for the benefit of the second sons of the kings of Portugal and brought together a vast array of properties, income and other assets, the original core of which resulted from the confiscation of supporters of the Spanish cause during the War of Restoration. It was extinct in 1834. The volume, an exhaustive copier of documents relating to the institution, transcribes and summarizes hundreds of documents, dated between 1705 and 1826, including donations, wills, deeds, decrees, permits, consultations, royal letters, memoirs, notices, relationships, etc. The first document is a "Doação do Senhor Rey D. Pedro 2º em que este faz mercê ao Senhor Infante D. Francisco das lezirias de Montalvo, Moraceira, etc.", on July 28, 1705. The last is the "Cópia da carta que acompanhou a consulta levada ao Conselho do Governo do Reino em 12 de Abril de 1826". One-handed calligraphed document without any index. Full red morocco binding of the time, with gold ornamental border and rectangular reserve on the covers (identical) that present in the centre the coat of arms of Portugal gold engraved; smooth spine with six tools between the sections; gauffered and gilt edge. Keeps the original endpapers in fancy paper.

1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Transmission: automaticMileage:80824The Silver Spirit was unveiled in October 1980 as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Direct comparison, however, showed only small differences. The new models had slightly grown in length and width; height had been cut a little, although the styling was more modern than that of its predecessor. The interior was dominated by the expected combination of fine wood and sumptuous leather. The Silver Spirit was similar mechanically to the Silver Shadow, benefiting from the superb Rolls-Royce 6,750cc, V8 and sharing many mechanical characteristics of the model it replaced. The instruments were supplemented by digital units which gave such information as the time, elapsed driving time and external temperature and were the first Rolls-Royce to be fitted with a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy.Supplied new in Jersey in 1984, this Rolls-Royce spent its first 18 years on the channel island before coming home to the mainland. The limited use available in Jersey will be the reason for the low mileage for the age of this car. This, and a good service history, is reflected in the stunning condition the car presents in today. The engine bay is immaculate and the car sports four new tyres, an upgraded stereo, stacking CD player, a stainless stell exhaust system, all tools and two sets of keys. The extremely rare Richmond Blue bodywork contrasts well with the magnolia trim piped in blue. The records show that this Spirit has two previous owners. One of whom purchased the car through world famous and well-respected franchised dealer P & A Woods, in fact some of the 15 dealer stamps in the service book are by the well-known dealer from Dunmow, Essex. Supplied to auction with a V5c registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
