GLASS VASE, late 18th or early 19th century, possibly Dutch, engraved with a farmer with tools to one side and with a couple dancing to two musicians verso, height 15.5cm; together with a tankard engraved with hops and barley flanking initials and a tumbers, inscribed Round Thorn and dated 1840 beneath a blue rim (3)
A cased Victorian white and base metal sewing set including a bucket shaped pin cushion decorated with bust of a young female, a fish scale decorated needle, and a pair of foliate scroll and scallop decorated scissors with scabbard, all pierces apparently unmarked. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition, minor wear to the leather case, some scratches and rubbing, predominantly to the edges, tarnish to the initialled cartouche, wear to the velvet of the pin cushion. Thimble misshapen. One of the tools possibly reduced in length.
