P. Fitzsimons FRCS (1892-1978); thence by descent. One of 925 copies on Van Gelder paper. The binder, 'L. G. W.', is likely to be Lucy Gilchrist Wrightson (1872-1945), who is recorded as a pupil at Sangorski & Sutcliffe in 1904. She 'lived and worked at Ockenden, Cuckfield, Sussex, [and] won a number of prizes for her binding. She exhibited at [Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society] exhibitions in 1906 and 1910, at Frankfurt in 1906, and with the Royal Amateur Art Society in 1907' (Tidcombe, Women Bookbinders 1880-1920 , p. 172; see also pp. 29 and 189).
