Collection Of Cased Vintage Haberdashery Tools With spinning bobbins, chisels, yarn weights, hand knotters, and various other instruments used in the cotton industry. Together with two books of yarn cloth samples. All relating to the cotton mill industry. The case incorporated with a magazine type stand with a collection of glass marbles in the drawer and further wool weight collection.

Extremely Rare WW2 British Issue Knife by George Ibberson & Co Sheffield, knife is complete with its perfectly intact black chequered grip. Blade has clear makers mark to the base. Original spike fitting. Lock catch remains in working order. Blade has some light staining but is generally in good condition. **When the British Military Intelligence captured a Luftwaffe paratrooper knife, they were so impressed, that they instructed George Ibberson & Co, Sheffield, to produce copies of these. They were issued to SOE (Special Operations Executive) operatives and other special forces units. They were made in a very small numbers and as such are very rare. The vendor was given this knife over 30 years ago by an elderly neighbour amongst a box of tools.

Stan Shaw exhibition pocket knife with mother-of-pearl grips,signed SS-80, fitted with eleven Wm Rodgers* folding tools including six knife blades of different profiles, saw, screwdriver, scissors, fleam, pick, of close plated steel, some stamped "I cut my way", in brass and nickel mounts, closed length 18cm, width 3.5cm. *Stan Shaw moved to Wm. Rodgers from Ibberson's in 1977. Condition report: Pearl, brass and nickel good; the return spring between the handles of the scissors is broken; the tool described as a pick may be a broken button-hook; the blades have some light discolouration or tarnish and there are some small spots of corrosion; all blades are stamped 05, five blades on one side are stamped "I cut my way", the six opposing blades are stamped Wm Rogers. Gross weight: 763g
