The ancient implement presents a thick midsection that tapers to a sharp, inward-curving blade edge on one side and a pointed, slender butt on the other. Stone tools like this example could be used as handheld implements for various ritualistic or utilitarian tasks such as scraping, cutting, and digging, or they could be attached to handles for greater leverage.
