A late 19th/early 20th century ladies' travelling vanity and jewellery box, the black covered box revealing manicure tools to the underside of the lid, with shaped mother of pearl handles, a letter compartment, a rectangular mirror, two small glass jars with silver plated screw lids, a glass bottle with silver plated lid, compartments, a lit-up tray revealing three sections, one with a watch holder, the box is locked with a twin lock and key, 12 x 27 x 16cm.

LIVERPOOL PORCELAIN; a c1780 creamware marriage jug with bat printed script and decoration, rim of flora and foliage above domestic and rural scenes of lambs, cats drinking milk, fish, pheasants, and script 'Abraham and Sarah Tapp', vignette to either side with script in rural border of wheatsheaves, tools, barrels, and scrolls, 'Let the wealthy and great roll in splendour and state, I envy them not I declare it I eat my own lamb, my chickens and ham, I shear my own fleece and I wear it, I have lawns, I have bow'rs, I have fruits, I have flow'rs, the lark is my morning alarmer; to jolly boys now god speed the plough long life and success to the farmer' and similar script verso. CONDITION REPORT Age related wear in the form of discolouration mainly to the top of the jug and handle, crackle glaze to the body, some possible restoration to the lip of the jug, various chips to the base of the jug, and general wear.
