A CASED SET OF PERCUSSION PISTOLS. A pair of side-action travelling or belt pistols, by Williams of London. Having 3.1/4" octagonal barrels, with the makers name engraved along the top. Steel ramrods on swivel mounts, with nickel plated action and furniture, Ornate high hammers and spring steel belt clips, nickel escutcheon plates. Chequered grips with nickel butt-caps that open for storage, 8.3/4" overall length. Among the tools in the case, are a Pistol Flask marked W Bartram in copper and brass. 5.3/4" high. Nipple key, screwdriver, bullet mould and cleaning equipment. The mahogany case is lined with blue beize, 11.3/4" x 8.3/4" x 2.5/8". There is no makers label, the key is present and the lock works. A good Grodnertal wooden pedlar doll, German circa 1820, with finely painted features, and painted black hair, on a peg-jointed wooden body and wearing original brown spotted dress with apron, red cape and black bonnet with ribbon decoration and lace cap, carrying her basket of wares containing two miniature painted wooden dolls, each with painted features, jointed wooden bodies and wearing original red and cream silk dresses, combs, brushes, sewing tools, needles, threads, jewels, painting set, watch, music sheet, cricket set, bonnet and more, (condition good and original, legs are taped together and she lacks feet), under a glass dome, doll 11” (28cm) tall.
