George Weatherill (British 1810-1890): Figures on the Scaur Whitby, watercolour signed 11cm x 20cm Notes: this early Weatherill shows the East Pier being prepared for its extension to allow for the eventual construction of the east lighthouse in 1837, and as such must date from circa 1834-1835.
