Reg. no. OY51 YMPChassis no. WFOVXXBBAVYY82028Engine no. YY82028Mileage: 36264 milesA key feature on any construction site in the late 1990s and early 2000s, was the fifth generation Ford Escort van, used all over the UK to get labourers and their tools to work and back. An unusual vehicle to be permitted a lot in our auction you may think, but with just three former keepers and only 36,200 miles from new, backed up by online MOT history, this is quite a unique little van. We would hazard a guess it is probably the lowest mile fifth generation van certainly here in the United Kingdom. The Escort had a cambelt kit at 22,000 miles when the current owner took custodianship. MOT certificates from 2004 are present in the file in addition to its original owner’s manuals and partial service history. The vendor describes the condition overall as good with some minor surface rust on the underside. The V5C is present and the van holds a recent MOT not expiring until June 2023. This is absolutely a future commercial classic in this condition and at such low mileage. It is worth noting that the private registration in the photograph is not included with the sale. The original plate OY51 YMP will be registered by the time of the sale.

Printed by Publicite Moulin, Paris. Good condition, tears on edges, browning, small paper losses on edges. Country of issue: France, designer: Geo Ham, size (cm): 59x40, year of printing: 1947.
