Maund (Benjamin) The Botanic Garden: consisting of highly finished Representations of Hardy Ornamental Flowering Plants, cultivated in Great Britain, vol.1-10, engraved titles with decorative floral border, all but vol.1 also with printed title, vol.3 with engraved dedication, 241 hand-coloured engraved plates, tissue guards, some browining and spotting, nineteenth century bookplate of Frances Lady Shelley, contemporary half straight-grained morocco, spines gilt with floral tools in compartments, not quite uniform, rubbed, (Nissen 2222), 4to, 18 (25)-30-27- (45).
Design.- Moholy-Nagy (Laszlo) Three drawings for kitchen tools, with covering letter, sent by Moholy-Nagy to Harry Isaacs, Head of Research Development at Butler Brothers, Chicago, proposing the drawings "may be useful for an item about which we spoke the other day, namely, the gripper to remove dishes and plates which were rinsed in hot water to promote quick drying", pencil drawings, 215 x 278mm., signed and dated by the artist in pencil, lower left, 3 file punch holes at extreme left edge of sheets, 2 of the drawings and the letter with very small losses at corners, marginal browning, other minor defects, mounted at corners onto card supports, black cloth case, 1945 (3).
A Fine Georgian Pocket Knife and Implement Compendium, of polished steel between silver mounted mother-of-pearl, comprising an extensive assortment of tools including fleams, corkscrew, hand vice, augers, wad punch, saw, a selection of blades, files and other tools, including a silver fruit knife, {Sheffield, 1817}, the fleams and some other items inscribed perhaps later 'J Morton, 343 Oxford St W', {12cm by 4cm by 6.5cm}.
Binding.- [Gebet-Buch], engraved frontispiece, lacking title, a little light water-staining to first and last few ff., green silk endpapers, slightly water-stained, contemporary red morocco, ornately gilt, covers with lozenge-shaped centrepiece enclosed by four foliate corner tools and black morocco onlaid design, g.e., spine divided into 7 panels, gilt, one initialled "G.C.N.. 1747." and one lacking title label, very slightly rubbed, small 8vo, n.p., [Germany], n.d. [?c.1740].

A Staffordshire pottery mug, circa 1861, of rounded form, printed in black with a verse entitled 'Trust in God', between numerous agricultural implements, a farm worker, milkmaid and animals, washed in with coloured enamels, the reverse depicting a farmers verse within a border of agricultural tools, and above the slogan, 'Industry Produceth Wealth', between the gilt inscription 'G Timmis Lea, 1861', the interior rim with a foliate border, chip to footrim, 5 in (12.7 cm) high
