From the torso mould a metal casting was taken and cleaned up as tooling aid to produce beryllium copper castings for the injection moulding tools. Before completing the tooling the toolmaker would take a resin 'squeeze' to check the cavity of the casting. Exporting outside the EU will require an additional export permit. *CR Damage to one vegetable ivory item, lid missing off one silver bodkin case, light wear/rubbing to decoration on box, loss to corner of lid, line of cracking to back of box, no escutcheon and minor chips around the gap/lock.
