Palitoy Action Force Metal Tooling Aid for the British Marine and Paratrooper, and also includes two red 'squeezes'.  The figure was sculpted in clay and then a rubber mould was taken.  From the torso mould a metal casting was taken and cleaned up as tooling aid to produce beryllium copper castings for the injection moulding tools.  Before completing the tooling the toolmaker would take a resin 'squeeze' to check the cavity of the casting.  This lot is from the personal collection of Bob Brechin - Manager and Lead Designer of Action Force, and includes a personally signed certificate of authenticity, with a short statement regarding the manufacturing process for the figure - see photo.
