Smooth, five-shot cylinder, with marks of the test bench and serial number '35236R'. Frame marked 'B19487', 'ADAMS' PATENT 35236R', mark 'LAC' and with dedication 'To G. G. F. FROM J. K. JUNE 1862'. The upper frame marked 'CHA.S INGRAM GUN MAKER GLASGOW', the base of the upper frame with sight. Safety lock. 90% of browning with small rust damage. Checkered, wooden butt. Kept in a leather case lined with burgundy velvet and featuring various tools, the bullet mold marked 'LAC 54'. Missing key. length 32 cm.

dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: India Moghul, A beautiful, double-edged blade with four grooves, arrow-shaped fullers, with enlarged tip ribbed at the center, the base carved with an elephant's head at the centre among gold-embossed inscriptions on both sides. Hilt of typical shape; two cross-bars joined by a pierced, floral decoration. The hilt is completely decorated with gold floral and geometric motifs, the base of the handle with other gold inscriptions. The gilding with very small missing parts. Original wooden scabbard covered with burgundy velvet (completely lined and with small missing parts of wood) with remains of a belt frog and another small scabbard for a small knife and tools. Chape made of gilded, engraved and pierced bronze. A very rare weapon, almost certainly manufactured during the Reign of Maharao Raja Ram Singh of Bundi (1811-89) with Sanskrit inscription, in Bundi dialect. Slightly engraved tang and numbered '1' and '2', provided with adjustable rear sight. Locks converted to percussion, flat lock plates signed 'in ofen' in the centre, gold-inlaid mark between the two words, outlined and engraved borders, tang decorated with floral motifs, under the percussion wave engravings with gold-inlaid circle. Wooden, half stocks (small missing parts) with checkered butt. Beautiful, browned iron mounts; trigger guards with finger support engraved with floral motifs and with Hungarian mark (one with gold remains); butt-plates finely decorated with a flower. Trigger and set trigger. Working mechanism. Kept in a wooden case (not pertinent) covered with green cloth, complete with all tools, the key is missing. length 37.5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Liege, Octagonal, rifled, 12 mm cal. barrels, signed 'N VIVARIO PLOMDEUR ARQ.R DU ROI A LIEGE', base engraved with flowers, Liege test-bed stamp on one side, with fore-sight; tangs engraved with flowers; forward spring locks engraved en suite, briar-root stocks embossed with rinceaux and grooved at the butt; iron trigger-guards with finger support, butt-plates cusped and engraved; set trigger. In their wooden case, lined with rose velvet, provided with all the tools and key. N. Vivario-Plomdeur received various patents for revolver, was a supplier of Liege court and owned a store in Paris (Der Neue Stöckel, Vol. II, page 1332). length 41 cm.

dating: circa 1500 provenance: Italy, Solid, single-edged blade with strongly enlarged back and carved in sectors featuring floral motifs and remains of gilding, base and tang decorated en suite, with a bird near the weak on the right side, and a cartouche at the center on the other side. Tang of rectangular section. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with remains of decorations, with two openings inside to house other tools. The blade was most probably part of a kit. A late 18th Century gilt metal chatelaine for a child, the hook mount with the figure of a shepherd with sheep, dog and birds below a tree. The three short chains with scallop shell form links to a central figural decorated etui (tools lacking), and flanked by a pair of hinged top decorated boxes, one containing the original gilt metal child's thimble, 14.5cms max.
A late 18th Century scissor compendium, the green shagreen case of trefoil tapering form with silver top mount, the tools comprising a pair of steel bladed scissors with silver arms to beaded oval loops, a silver bodkin/earspoon and a silver bodkin with circular and rectangular apertures, small section of shagreen neatly replaced with leather, some filling to seam, wear to tip, 10.7cms.
