dating: 1840 circa provenance: Suhl, Finished, two-stage, 13 mm cal. barrels, with finest grooves (in perfect condition), first part is octagonal, signed 'I. P. SAUER U. SOHN A SUHL', then with sixteen facets, bases engraved with floral motifs, precision front sights; very long tangs, engraved with floral motifs with adjustable rear sight; backward spring lock, finely engraved with floral motifs, cocks with safety lock, engraved nipples; walnut, three quarters stocks with micro-checkered grips, embossed with floral motifs, enlarged butt-plates of oval section, with borders chiselled with waves, silver mounts engraved en suite, trigger-guards with finger support, adjustable set triggers. In their wooden case, lined with green cloth, with almost all the tools. length 37.5 cm.

dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Paris, Octagonal, rifled, blued, 12 mm. cal. barrels signed 'Gastinne Renette Arq.r De l'Empereur a Paris' in gold, breech and nozzle finely engraved with flowers, precision front sight; tangs decorated en suite and numbered '1' and '2' in gold; forward spring locks engraved with a hound dog among rocaille; beautiful, ebony stocks carved with high-relieved floral motifs, iron mounts decorated en suite. In their green-velvet-lined, wooden case, complete with tools and with the famous gunsmith label. length 42.5 cm.
