A Chinese blue and white dish, mid 18th century, decorated with incense burner and tools, beneath a willow tree with peony, and with peony and pine painted rim, 35.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small V shape hairline scratch to the centre of the dish and a further light surface scratch to the rim (if on a clock face at 9 o'clock). There are numerous frittings around the rim which is to be expected. The plate rings out when lightly tapped.
A bone handled Khukri in leather scabbard with silver coloured metal embossed mounts, set with coloured stones, two further Khukri and a Mirasol Machete, the blade stamped N2 127 within a leather scabbard, blade 40.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are some small chips to the raised band around the bone handle. The blade is oiled and shows evidence of being sharpened. The metalwork to the handle is dark and pitted. The Khukri does not pull clearly from the sheath and has to be manipulated. The accompanying small accessories have wooden handles on which the blades have been greased and have slight pitting. The leather scabbard has a few small scuffs but is in generally good order. The metal mounts are missing some coloured stones to the settings. The tip of the scabbard is creased and dented. The wooden handled Khukri pulls cleanly from the scabbard and has a greased blade which is pitted throughout. The leather around the wood interior is missing on the tip and also along the base and the top of the scabbard. The frog appears to be in good order. Two smaller tools belong to the knife are worn and pitted. The smaller wooden handled Khukri is missing its tools however it has a greased blade with very light pitting. There is some leather missing from the top of the scabbard at the rear. It is showing signs of wear and tear commensurate with age. The Machete is in good order with a greased blade (the grease of which has now hardened). The handle has some small minor knocks but nothing too detrimental. The other scabbard has a hole in the tip but is otherwise good.
