Wood working tools from the collection of Derek John Camm comprising 139 chisels of various sizes, profiles and makes including Addis (30), C.Hill (36), Tiranti & H.Taylor (21), Marples (8), Sorby (2), Ibotson (1), Herring Bros (2), Colquhoun & Cadman (1), skelton (1), others (36) Other woodworking tools including a Ouchita whetstone; oilstones; plough plane; block planes; Sorby draw knife; mallets etc. Derek John Camm studied and worked with Jack Dorrington (B. Dorrington & Sons, Church furnishings of Distinction) in the 1950's and 60's. He later went on to work in churches including Crich and refurbishing the chapel at Repton school. His work can be found in several churches throughout Derbyshire. He made the banner case for the Mother's Union which can be seen by the tomb of Bess of Hardwick in Derby Cathedral. His career also included working at Insignia Oak Furniture creating Priory style furnishings.
