Two registered keepers are recorded on the V5C (with the original owner keeping it for 21 years and 190,000 miles) and the odometer now shows 233,200 miles. The car was registered in February 1990 and the MoT is valid through to June 2025. The vendor tells us that the car runs and drives well and has been used for longer trips around the UK (including on business) as well as trips to car shows. There is an occasional ‘lazy tappet’ tick at start-up, which goes away when the engine is warm. He further tells us that the car has been very reliable over the last 40,000 miles/3.5 years. The vendor tells us that it runs and drives although it has a faulty coolant light (which is always on), a central display that can take a while to display properly and the occasional vibration from the rear while driving. New plugs and leads were recommended after the last service. The car has received low use over the last few years with, the vendor tells us, no reliability issues in that time. Recent work has included an oil and filter change service in November 2022 along with new rear spring, a new front numberplate in February 2025. Recalls for the airbag and fuel tank have been done, in April 2019 and May 2018 respectively. The air conditioning was recharged in August 2024.
